Runs and Drives All Real Good. Sheet Metal Looks Good. This Minneapolis Moline G-VI is for sale and runs real good. We just had it out three weeks ago but need the room for another project and already have several tractors so this big HP tractor needs a new home. Got it from a estate several years back and the previous owner had used it on occasion for tractor pulling and said it was set to 100 HP. Have taken it out a few times to the area tractor pull and it did really well. Someone there told us it could be turned up a lot more than 100 HP too, if a person wanted but we haven’t done that. The tractor from the factory is rated 78 HP and this GVI model was made from 1959 to 1962. The G6 engine is the factory 6-Cylinder Minneapolis-Moline 425-6 and it is still the same 12 volt system it came with too. This tractor is straight and the previous owner has started to paint it and he finished most of it except the fenders. Tractor does come with the correct rear seat box and frame, power steering unit and rear hydraulic remotes sets but all those are off of it at present. The estate we got it from told us their Dad had taken that all off to make it lighter for pulling and to get it into a lower pulling class. Rear tires are good and better than average. The front tires are like new with the rubber tips still on them. Has PTO and drawbar on back. The GVI is I understand related to all these models the G-705 G-706 G-707 G-708 G-900 G-950 G-1000 G-1050 G-1350 and even the Massey Ferguson MF95 and MF97 probably because of the engine.
