I believe this to be a 1946 model RTU. It was parked inside in its current location (see pictures) about 15+ years ago running on a new magneto. I have not tried to start it since. The motor is free and has always been maintained with good antifreeze. The tractor is complete with the exception of the tool box cover and seat cushion. The left rear wheel rim is rusted through around the valve stem. It has fluid in the rear tires. I was given this tractor in 1983. I was able to get it running at that time by cleaning the carburetor and installing new spark plugs. The tractor was cleaned up, sandblasted, painted, and rewired at that time. However, the paint was not the best quality and it needs repainting now depending on what you want to do with it. I have never touched the engine except to adjust the valves and change the oil. The clutch fork has been rebuilt to take out the play in the clutch. The rear axle seals (behind the brakes) were replaced at the time, but if you know about Rs, they are notorious for leaking rear axle seals. The tires hold air but need replacing. It has always been stored inside as far as I know. I did nothing with it particularly than drive it around as an antique. This tractor is located 60 miles east of Kansas City, Missouri.
