My Dad and I bought this tractor NEW in 1968. At the time it was the Largest Farm Tractor in McDowell County. It was a very Powerful, Beautiful and Excellent piece of equipment. People came from all around to see it. Yes, we were quite proud of it. We owned and operated a Chicken Hatchery and about 5,000 Breeders. To produce hatching eggs. So we farmed 200 to 300 acres of Corn each. Year for making our own feed for the breeders. We also have a U-302 MM. The tractor done excellent for years, until one of our Dummy employees. Got to thinking the diesel fuel tank had water in it. Daddy or me, they decided to put in 6 bottles of alcohol. In the 40 gallon Diesel Tank to dry up the water that didn’t even exist. So a couple of. Weeks later while making feed, he comes to me and says, That Tractor. Is making a new noise it hasn’t been making. I go listen to it and sure enough, I too hear a little something. That hadn’t ever been there before. I still don’t know about the alcohol. I told him to pay close attention to it and if it got one bit worse. Stop it and come get me. At this time of the year all the tractor is. Doing is making feed. So a week or two later, he come and says, its getting worse. I went to listen and sure enough, it was getting worse. So I went and got one of my friends that was a service man over. At the International Truck Shop to come look and listen. And he said, we wont know till we pull the oil pan. So we did and two. Of the 2 cylinder blocks had an inch or so broke off the bottom. Of the Piston Skirt on the blocks. So I get a couple used blocks and had them magna-fluxed and got. A set of gaskets and what ever other things he said to get rounded up. So he came and we tore it down to see if there were any other items. We may need before we went any further. So I got everything he said. We would need in order to put it all back. Clark got really sick. And died before he could put the engine back together. So that’s why the engine is dis-assembled. Dad got killed in a tractor accident right here in the back yard in 2000. I done it all for 2 more years with the other tractor, and somehow. It just wasn’t the same without Dad. The wife wanted to quit so in 2002. I did not plant another crop. We leased the land to the neighbors. And stopped all Breeder-Hatchery and agriculture operations. Now we operate an Lawing Incubator Company, but don’t farm or. Have any livestock except for one little BullDog. Now I’m 72 years old and health isn’t very good anymore, and the. Tractor sets right in the shed where Mr. Clark and I left it. Being the tractor is a 1967 or 1968 or somewhere right in that area. Probably the Old Timers Tractor Pulling People may have. Some interest in it. They love to re-do engines, and this tractor. Old enough to qualify for that era now. I thought it best I try to get rid of this thing while there is still. Someone left available to answer some questions regarding it. Its has a White 451 Diesel Engine, 97 Horse Power. The Tractor has 4,038.54 hours on it. Ampli-Torc and two PTO Shafts. One for 540 RPM and One for 1,000 RPM. I still got the Books and what Records there is on it. Yea, I guess I have Bored you to death with all this. But the tractor has been rather special to me all its life. I would hate to think it would wind up in the scrap pile. I believe all of the parts here. Even the Bad Part. Get in touch, I should be able to answer any questions. You may have regarding it. Of coarse you are welcome to come see it if you wish. It would be better if Customer Picked Up.
